Measure the sun's intensity

The Solar Irradiance Meter is an accurate, low-cost meter that measures the sun's intensity in W/m². This meter helps you verify the performance of solar panels and is also useful for general monitoring of solar insolation. The meter has a range of 0 to 2000 W/m² and has ± 5% accuracy.

The assembled version features a rugged plastic enclosure and comes preassembled and tested. The kit version includes all parts needed to build the meter and requires beginner level soldering. Meter power is from a 9V battery (not included). See the manual for more details.
